i feel like in the first round, teams should only deviate from that in the most egregious of circumstances. hockey is just so hard to project. by the time these guys can be good, 2 or 3 years have likely gone by, and who knows what the landscape of a team looks like then.

you can bite yourself in the ass for passing on player x because you had 3 guys at that position who now are no longer in the organization just as player x is starting to come into his own.

The Pens have really played well these last two games, and while the series isn't over, I don't mind admitting that I honestly didn't think they had what they've shown the last two games in them.

Still a few games to go, but I just thought I'd say that -- the Pens did have another gear I didn't think they had.

i just think towards the end of the game he was like (frank) it, im either one going to take the puck straight down the slot, or else just park myself in front of fleury. made for good opportunities. i dont think he will go 0 for the series. really need to watch out for him next game to hope to get a win
