Exactly. That's why I appreciate him. Leaf ownership just cares about filling the seats because no matter how crappy their team is the seats will be filled. Snider would not allow his team to miss the playoffs year after year

I must me missing something. I think Jim Jackson is good. He's a homer alright but otherwise does a good game. Steve Coats is an acquired taste though.

I feel his home team bias has been growing over the years

They apparently have about a 70% winning percentage with it. They showed the record last time she sang it. I hate it. And the in-game production guy had said back in March that it had been retired. He must have been overruled by someone.

I'd love to see them just project the video of Kate on the ice and get Lauren out of it completely... the tradition is fine... the split is awful.

I'm serious. On the rare occasion she doesn't sing they boo the substitute. (I'd be happy to take the boos for a chance to do the anthem for the Flyers just once. Much easier than the Phils was I'm sure, considering there's less of a feedback/echo problem in an arena than there was in the Vet.)

i think she's widely beloved - in no small part due to her dad. she can belt it out and i genuinely think her version of SSB is better than any other anthem singer out there.

sometimes he gets on my nerves but that's only natural. he's smooth and natural and doesnt subscribe to the "mad-libs" style of commentating.

When he's just calling the game I enjoy him. It's his blatant homer bias and his opinions on the game that bug me. How many times have I heard Keith Jones or Clement correct him or disagree?

i always knew he cared, but when i saw him go ballistic after the 99 game 6 series loss to the leafs with leclair in the box for elbowing, that cemented it for me.

He also needs to take a stance on boarding and not decide depending on if it's a flyer or opponent getting boarded.

and you know my stance on the overall production of the live flyers game experience. i'll just leave it there.
