Stempniak just undressed McDonagh.
Carcillo being exposed for the sack of poop player he is. This Rags team blows. - PLindbergh31
stempy makes sick moves but can never get one like that. they need to try elevating one on henrik. |

I thought Stempniak was a great pickup for the Pens. Gave up next to nothing to get him. |

Didn't think they were that good when they were playing the Flyers. If the Flyers had played their best Hockey, they would be playing the Pens now.

If you take out the OT of game 1, isn't it 9 straight shutout periods for MAF now?
I won't say the Flyers would have beat the Penguins, I know for sure they wouldn't have been as feeble offensively as the Rags are. Flyers PP usually does very well against the Pens. |

Agreed. The ES play in that series did the Flyers in. |

not that the PP is exactly helping the pens. but if what kunitz just did is going to be a penalty, this entire game should be played on the man advantage for someone |

Saw that in the Flyers series. With all the chances they had against the Flyers, that series should've never gone 7. Mason had a lot to do with that. But so did the Ranger inability to finish.

home ice, and a healthy mason would have ensured this. those 2 issues were the death knell. no way they were winning a game 7 at msg. |

like i said. the pens pp looks atrocious right now anyway. but god im so (frank)ing tired of the reffing anymore
it was literally a one hand get out of here kind of thing. if youre going to apply THAT literal of an interpretation. the rangers might as well leave their sticks on the bench. |

Well they weren't going to win a game 7 at MSG with the way they played in the 2nd period. But if they had brought their A game, with the way Mason was playing, I think they could've won it. Even as badly as they played in the 2nd. They still only lost by a goal.

i agree. my point was that they don't bring their A game to msg, virtually ever. if they managed to win, it would have been due to spectacular goaltending (which they got) and some fluky, opportunistic scoring which they didn't get. they needed their pp and it didn't come through. it's a shame. i hate being out of this. |
