Ya I mean if you just got knocked out of the playoffs I don't blame them for not going. As for the guys who didn't make the playoffs....I would hope they would go. For a guy like Weber/Duchene who already went to the Olympics this year as well, he get's a free pass IMO

I agree, this tournament should be trashed and the World Cup should be brought back every 4 years, coinciding with the summer Olympics (not at the same time but same year). That way there is a big competition every two years. Then this one can be lost. Until then players are playing for their countries so some people should feel some pride in that. It is suppose to be something they enjoy.

Who they hell is Da Costa? Those were both nice goals. The last one made Canada look silly.
