If we aren't drafting at 3 I don't see the point in drafting at all, unless of course the guy we want at 3 is there at 4 5 or even 6.

If we aren't getting in those first few picks the pick should be dealt for help now. Sure another high end prospect would be good, but most those guys taken there take time to make any sort of impact.

I dont see it being worth it for the Oil. A team like Philly though could make a splash since the draft is there and they are looking to shed some cap.

I would take Ekblad if I were them. They have a good young core up front, now they just need to start filling it will some vets and focus on the blueline.

Odds are if you are trading a #3 pick you are getting a damn good player. The risk of trading down and drafting 6th is you didn't fix your team and you risk current superstars wanting out.

Team needs to be fighting for the playoffs all year next year or look out rebuild #2.
