It is still a good battle, at least both teams suck right now. Would be nice to meet up in the playoffs and reignite the rivalry. I expected Edmonton to dominate us this year. I will never forget that 8-1 debacle of a game.

Great, they were still terrible until this year, and still a ways away from being great now.

Honestly, the Oilers flat out suck and get pegged for tanking. The Avs waffle back and forth between the basement and 80-90 point seasons and they're the class of the league. Figure that one out.

Its good the Oilers are getting called out for their poor managing. They are the laughing stock of the league and need to know exactly how much so. It's embarrassing and needs to stop.

The first year they truly sucked was the year before we drafted Hall and that year was not intentional. Injuries, Bad Contracts (Horcoff/Gilbert), no one wanting to sign here, Bad trades (O'sullivan), Pancake Penner was our leading scorer... Not intentional.

Every year there after I believe the Oilers did not aggressively attempt to be a better team and did plan to draft high.

This last year I am not exactly sure if they intentional tanked or are just embarrassing.
