Thank you, but I was saying Akeson's ability with the puck and offensive awareness are NHL level. I understand he's not great at much else. - PhillySportsGuy
I got what you were saying. It appears that it is to me also. But have to be careful with small sample sizes with a player. Many players have come up late in the year, and played well in small samples of games. Only to fizzle out. All I can say is that he deserves a chance to win a job in camp. |

I'd contend that he was just as good defensively, if not better, than half of the other wingers on the team during that series. |

I'd do Vinny for Booth, or maybe Stalberg. Booth had a horrible year, but Vancouver might be in a "retooling" mode. And if Lavi wants Lecavalier, maybe we could get Stalberg. They're not top liners, but are players who can play on the top line. - jmatchett383
Yeah. I would be willing to take back those guys. Not sure VL would waive to go to Vancouver. I could see him waiving to play for Lavi in Nashville though. |

Well, we agree. I like Akeson a lot, but I'm not willing to hand him a spot. |

I think he might waive for basically anywhere is Berube makes it clear that there's a strong chance he'll stay on the 4th line. But yes, it's not a premier destination. |

this is my pov. we have no idea what he'll do over the course of a full season, given legitimate chance to grow, being put in the right situations with the right linemates. |

and the coaches/management won't be either. he's shown he can be a leading scorer in the ahl, but needs work in other areas. the only way to find out is to give him a chance. what he does with that chance, is up to him. |

Well, there are 3 Cups, so it could happen.
Would have to pull some Mission Impossible-type stuff at the HHOF though. |
