I really think the Leafs will show strong interest in him. They have their 2nd rounder but no 3rd rounder. They do have two 4th rounders though.

Hell, I would take the one of the 4th's to get him off the books.

There's a lot of strikes against him. The contract is fine if he can rebound, but he's missed 57 games in 4 years, with a variety of injuries. His possession numbers the last two seasons have not be especially good. Even using the eye test, he doesn't look good out there.

He's still a smart player, and can be a lethal shooter, but I don't know that I'd risk much if I was a GM and I'd want at least $1mm eaten by the Flyers.
