I think centers can learn to play wing, but it takes time. You can't expect a guy who played center his whole life to transfer to wing easily.

Its different for different players. There is more responsibility for centers, but they have more time and space. They also have the ability to rome a lot more.

jesus christ man he scored almost 20 goals playing out of position, often on the 4th line and on the 2nd pp unit. not to mention missing time with injury.

sure he didnt have a great year but it's not like he's unsalvagable if his role changes.
