Laughton, 1st and Vinny for Phaneuf? Money and contracts aside that would be a pretty solid hockey trade both ways. I would have to think about that a bit.

Yeah man, I've been done since May 1st. Got home May 3rd.

Since then, I've been an unpaid intern at a Ma and Pa pharmacy in my home town. Need to fulfill 120 hours, then do this dumb portfolio poop sometime in December. After the rotation I can go back to the hospital and actually get paid though. Yayyyyyyy

Please let's stay far away from Phaneuff... He is not would we need. Not to mention 7 year deal. Leafs are going to have to eat at least 2 million a year.

They are saying on Sports radio Toronto that if a deal was to happen it would probably be a west team involved.

I agree. I just think a little more highly of phaneuf than most. If he went to a team that didn't require him to wear a letter or play against the toughest level of competition in the nhl, he'd look better

I'd happily take Phaneuf...he's not a captain but he is a good defenseman. He faces brutal competition, plays a ton of minutes and is in a horrid situation in Toronto.
