I'm with you on Redmond, not as much on Fayne...although either would probably be better than Gill in terms of being a 6/7 guy, especially at moving puck and mobility - Jsaquella
Yeah, swap both in for Grossmann and Gill, in either order, and I think this team is much better at 5V5 already. |

But what would you give for him? - Feanor
That's where the trouble lies...he ain't gonna be cheap and I'm not willing to trade 10, 14 or Morin, Gostisbehere or Hagg for him right now. |

Yup. I hate thinking about what might have happened if Mason had started the series. Just another reason I want the Pens eliminated first, then the Rags. - wolfhounds
I almost forgot about why Mason didn't start the series. I was pulling for the Pens because I'd love to see the Bruins just run them over. I don't know anymore.
The Pens looked to be falling into their old habits last night. Too much individual hockey and punching guys because they're losing. |

The Rangers are assaulting Crosby left and right, like they did to Giroux. I'm still rooting for a meteor to hit Consol. |

Wouldn't say much thought went into it... just liked the photo aesthetically... also gives me an opportunity to wear my Richie man-crush on my sleeve. |

That'd only kill 6-10 at most...
I seriously don't care who wins anymore. At gun point, I'd say I prefer the Pens, but that isn't really true |

I'm pretending that series doesn't exist. Watched about half of Saturdays game with a couple guys I know at the local Pizza place. One's a Pens fan. He was in agony. I couldn't even enjoy it. |

I'm glad it went to 7 games. One team is going to be very upset and the fans are going to say their team underachieved. The other will, hopefully, be annihilated by the Bruins. |

I do think if Mason was able to start game one, the Flyers beat the Rangers. |

Absolutely, but they need to avoid $3mm+ third pair defensemen altogether |

Possibly. They were so thoroughly outplayed at even strength though. I thought Emery played really well in game 2. Game 3 is the one I'd want to have had Mason. That was a winnable game with strong goaltending. |

Yup, that's what I was thinking, too. Of course, had Mason been in for game one, it's a different dynamic.
Not faulting Emery. You can't start back up for three games and expect to be up 2-1 in the playoffs. |
