There is always an advantage to skating the puck into the zone with possession, but the Rangers style of play makes it very difficult. They need to be willing to dump and chase a little more often.

Even if they lose the battle, they still force the Rangers to go 200 feet. Rangers feast off of neutral zone turnovers.

seriously. last game, he said "we don't want to overplay this, but..." 5 times. we get it. just make a bronze statue of msl and put it outside the garden because he's playing in the playoffs and his mom died. he's a true hero, and a god among men for displaying such fortitude.

Yeah NBC needs to worry less about the non stories and focus more on actually talking about the now. The game being played and what's transpiring in real time. Replays would be nice as well.

When I saw Kunitz jump the guy, I assumed something more serious happened. Just a little cross check to Sid's back. It wasn't egregious by any means. That looked a lot more like frustration than protection.

yeah. i dont think crosby was even engaged at that point. it was more just an excuse to get involved.


in other news, the broad on NBCSN. shes not bad.

Every player on the Flyers had worse numbers while playing with VL. He cannot play wing and he's not good enough to play in the top 3 centers on the Flyers.

I think there are pros and cons to both players games. I certainly don't feel that Brayden Schenn has to play center.
