I honestly don't care when Anthony DeAngelo is selected, I want nothing to do with him, he doesn't play much actual defense and has anger/bullying issues - ob18

He didn't throw his stick in the stands, he slammed against the glass and it brock off into the stands.
And both are not okay at all. - ob18
Fair enough. If he falls to 47 (or wherever the Flyers second pick is) and is still there, I'd take a chance on the guy. From what I've read, his offensive skills are pretty damn good. I'd hope that, if he can clean up his act, the defensive side could be taught over his junior career and/or the AHL. But, like I said, I don't know much about him aside from being from my hometown and leading OHL defensemen in scoring. |

Off-topic but brought up: The term "bullying." Can't believe adults use this term, like some 35-year-old is trying to steal your lunch money. Once you reach about 15, it's not "bullying" it's being a douche bag. Just bugs me, that's all.

Or it's simple assault. Or it's assault and battery. |

Corporate bullying is a very really thing. I see it happen, especially to women by women. It's really difficult to call it anything else in a business setting. |

Yikes Timmy...
Claude Giroux
Vincent Lecavalier
Brayden Schenn
- Tomahawk
Tim is such a clown.
I agree with his point of view of Giroux but he is that, a young captain still adjusting to the role. Mike Richards was expected to be our future leader, not this sudden change.
Lecavalier's deal isn't a bad deal and I do like the player but I would prefer Bobby Ryan. This team could really use Ryan right now.
Tim shouldn't worry about Schenn's deal. Obviously he's not keeping count but the Flyers normally get deals done early so they can have the rest of the summer off. |

And I don't agree that he needs to be placing blame on anyone (singly or communally) with the press. I'm perfectly happy with him dealing with it in the room. No good comes of throwing guys under the bus. And the guys who are always saying "I need to play better?" Well that gets old fast, too. |

To Winnipeg:
B.Schenn
L.Schenn
3rd Round 2014
To Philly:
E. Kane
Z. Bogossian
- J35Bacher
No one in Winnipeg would be. |

i mean yeah he deserves some criticism. but its not like the trade him fires are gonna start anytime soon. i would hope people arent that dumb to even murmur such a thing - stayinthefnnet
Agreed. I don't think anyone will want to trade him, but you never know with some knuckleheads. He's got 1 goal in his last 17 playoff games right? That's unreal. |

I sort of agree with him on Lecavalier being a bad contract. At the very least, because he doesn't fit anywhere easily. |

Tim's looking for Pronger. The media in general wants a guy who can be a quote machine, and when they get one, they tend to either make him a cult hero or drive him out of town.
Guy like Pronger knew how to play the game and handled it by making most of the media who tried to ask him moronic questions look even dumber than they are. Guy like Richards took the slings and arrows personally and let it get to him. |
