This is a big deal because next year's draft isn't going to be as good and New Orleans is going to be better next season. I believe Anthony Davis takes another step forward and becomes a dominant player. - PhillySportsGuy

Oh, yeah. And I don't suppose there was really any point in charging more. It will be insane, though. I sure hope they win. (Not only for lack of violence, but because...Lucic!) - bodiva88
the habs must win. i also don't think the skirts and habs have met post-season since that dynamic wales conference final in 86. i can't recall another series after this. |

I really like Nik Stauskas from Michigan. He's a very good complementary player. I dont believe he's an all star, but a guy who can really shoot and is capable of handling the ball. He reminds me of Chandler Parsons, but a more polished shooter.
Doug McDermott is well known. He's a great shooter, but he doesn't really have a position. He's only 6'7, but he moves like a big man. He can really shoot the ball though and he does have a polished offensive game. He's a very cerebral player as well.
James Young on Kentucky has tremendous upside. He's very inconsistent but can really shoot the ball. He's only 18, so he has a lot of maturing to do in terms of understanding the game. He can be a bit passive and settle for jumpers too much at times too.
Aaron Gordon is a tremendous athlete from Arizona. He has limited offensive upside, but he's always going to play at 100% all over the court. I dont think he's a fit for the Sixers because Noel is a similar type of player, but with more upside on both ends of the court.
Noah Vonleh has a lot of upside, but he's very raw. He could develop into anything from an all star to out of the league in 5 years. He doesn't have a feel for the game, but has all the measurables you'd look for in a player.
Rodney Hood is a SG from Duke. He's a tremendous shooter and is very good at slashing to the basket and drawing fouls. He and Parker were similar in that regard. Hood would be a nice complimentary piece to a team with a superstar. I dont think he has superstar ability though.
Gary Harris is a versatile player. He's smaller for a SG but MCW is big for a point guard, so it would help offset if they got him. I don't like him a lot because he does a lot of the same things MCW does. He's a good role player as he can knock down a shot and will work hard. Those guys can be had later in the draft or FA.
Dario Saric is a skilled PF without much athleticism. He works well with the ball in his hands. He's only 6'9, so there is concern about him being able to create his own shot. He has great passing ability for a big man though and he has tremendous instincts. He has a low ceiling but a high floor. I'd be shocked if he didn't develop into a rotational player at the very least.
I left out PGs because I don't think they'll go in that direction with MCW already on board |

Does it really matter if they win or lose? Isn't riots the default for both? |

Wow, thanks for all that. So we can potentially have a complete team out of this draft in a year or two. |

i couldn't care less about the cup/canada storyline. in fact, i'd kind of dig it if the habs won, because it would further shove it down toronto's throat. and vancouver's for that matter. |

Yeah. Its important they get a top 3 pick though. There is a significant drop off from Parker, Wiggins and Embiid to Randle, Exum, etc.
Worst case scenario would be having NO win the lottery and the Sixers finishing with the 4th or 5th pick. It would delay the rebuild even further.
It's not joke when I say Tuesday (Draft Lottery Night) is the biggest day of the season for the Sixers. |

Yeah it has been all season. Even getting the third pick would not be as good. Relying heavily on two guys that have injury history obviously doubles the chances of injury slowing us down. Noel and Embiid i mean |

Is our 1st (17) + Lecavalier for Nashville 1st (11) a crazy thought?
How about with $1mil retained on Vinny? |

i want either LA or Anaheim to win. As for Habs/Bruins, i really don't know. The Habs fans are insufferable. But I dislike the Bs team more than the Habs team. I dislike both coaches equally. Hopefully it's a good game. |
