Well they started as an expansion team and haven't had much in terms of offensive talent. I don't recall them ever having top line talent. - PhillySportsGuy
Radulov/Footpa/Kariya would have been a pretty sick 1st-line if they had been able to keep that one together. |

Pens fans have watched him all year and most of them are advocating trading Letang and re-signing Niskanen - PhillySportsGuy
Idk if you have twitter, but Penguins "fans" actually got #TradeCrosby to trend across the entire US last night.
Just saying. |

Two of those guys were essentially done when they got there and I'm not sure the other one gives a crap about playing hockey for a living. |

Doesn't Carrie Underwood qualify as top line talent? |

Making the playoffs essentially every other year with an internal cap as tight as the Preds is no small feat.
7 playoff births in 15 years on a cap strapped team like the Preds compared to 1 birth on a cap strap team like the Panthers in the same time period helps put it into perspective.
Not only is he not over-rated, he's probably one of the top-3 coaches in the world, which is why he lasted 15 years. - mochoson
I would take him here. |

I like his demeanor but I really can't say his appointment wasn't cringe worthy. I'm still waiting for that to wear off. |

That likely has a lot to do with Letang's cap hit and health issues more than anything else. Oh, and hopping on whatever wagon is closest after another disappointing season. |

He deserves credit for what he did, but could probably do with a few years coaching the Phantoms. AV kind of took him to school. |

Let Lappy and/or Paddock handle the pressers, that should help. When he opens his mouth, all I hear is hodor. |

At least we have the toughest President, GM, Coach combo in the NHL. They won't ever be pushed around again! |

... and Lappy, Hatcher, Brown, Samuelsson, Cote... Paddock was a pretty tough dude too. Let's just say that Reese and Mullen are probably pretty mindful of stepping on toes in staff meetings. |

I doubt Patrick Roy would consider jumping the bench to come at the Flyers bench coaches. |

How would a NMC work in an expansion draft? Do you HAVE to protect that players rights because you guaranteed them no movement in their contracts? |
