Chocolate wins every time in my book. Reeses, KitKat, Hersheys (Almonds ofc), Snickers, and M&Ms(Again with nuts).
Can't decide which of these I like the most. |

Because Shero allotted 37% if his cap to 3 players and wasn't able to put together a competent bottom-6 on a team expected to, at the least, reach the ECF. But yes, HCDB should be gone too. - jmatchett383

Well, yeah. But if the coach is going to sit the guy, can the GM say to himself, AHL is the better choice until I can convince the coach to play him or change coaches? |

Bill Meltzer: Meltzer's Musings: Gustafsson Signs With Avangard Omsk - bmeltzer
Mixed feelings on Gustafsson going.
On one hand I'm releaved. I've always disliked that he lacked size and strength. After success in the World's one year ago, I've read some people on here comparing him to Timonen. Like they expected Erik Gustafsson to become our next Kimmo Timonen which is a stretch.
On the other hand, the Mark Streit signing hurt Gustafsson development. The trading of Meszaros, just to add MacDonald has hurt Gustafsson's development. he was unable to play nightly for the Philadelphia Flyers.
Last night I had a conversation about how the Briere signing originally hurt Richards and Carter's development and lack of faith in the two players. I tend to disagree. I think this is the very example of holding a young player back. In fact I believe Richards and Carter learned to play defense and play against top talents by playing second or third line roles before becoming top line players. |

i feel like if this were the case, he might have been able to draw more than 2 penalties while getting humped up and down the ice for 13 games. just a thought - stayinthefnnet
Crosby was the leagues(Bettmans) golden boy from the post lockout year 06-07 to 2 years ago. We all know that. After 5 years its time for someone else to get special treatment and get multiple round playoff money.
If you can PM me somehow I will tell you some things about that year when I was in the igloo.
A wonderful quote about teams not staying on top and winning the Cup every year.......
As Bobby Clarke said after being swept by the Habs in 75-76, after 2 Cups in a row
"The sun doesnt shine on the same dogs behind every day" |

i would argue he was the golden boy before the post-lockout season of 05-06, ie, from draft day. can you imagine if he had been a duck instead? pittsburgh might be in kansas city by now.

just think if he has missed the net by 4 feet he would be signed to an extension immediately after the game |

Since Gus is viewed as a fringe 6th dman, pretty sure the organization really wants that position to go to one of the young d-men (Alt, Haag, or Morin). I can't blame Gus for wanting more playing time and the KHL is a very good league. |
