It's true his ceiling had definite limitations but I honestly thought the more he was a regular in the lineup the stronger he got. Just feels like a wasted asset at this point.

He did play better (as do all players) the more the played. But he was never going to be a game-changing force. He was a small defenseman who had mediocre offensive skills and was good at defensive puck retrievals. That's about it.
