Desharnais and Gallagher have a lot of energy tonight.
CSP giving out some rebounds too - Marc D
He's been flopping around a lot. The Rangers have done such a good job of clearing rebounds. He's been giving up rebounds, but teams just aren't in position to pot them all playoffs. |

Could probably afford Thornton or B Boyle if we go cheap and get Kulemin. - FlyersSteve118
I wouldn't mind Thornton. He's a tough guy who doesn't hurt the team when he's on the ice.
Boyle is a nice player, but I think he's going to get a Gaustad type deal. Lets not forget this guy is a a good 4th line player. I bet Laughton can step in and be a 4th line center at worst. |

So far Staal has:
Sat on the puck along the boards forcing a whistle.
Tackled a Hab in the Rangers crease.
Hooked / hacked every Hab in sight. - Pixote Andolini
he doesnt know what to do without crosby there to crosscheck in the back of the head. |

Pierre has been alright tonight. He's done so many games, I guess he assumes we all know where every player played in Juniors by now. |

Damn now they're doing a package on players crashing the net and hitting goalies.
Krieder with 3 times he crashes into a goalie!
Edit: Haha and a purposeful mispronunciation of Milan Lucic's name all the while saying it was Markov that started it on the handshake line. |

Would rather have Pouliot over Kulemin. He has had one good year, not consistent and they want him out of Toronto especially at 2.8 million...it was a contract year so you think he would have produced more of an effort. They were down on him after Boston series as he was invisible, and they were hoping for him to produce this year...but he did not |

I like Kulemin because he's a good defensive player too. Even if he's not contributing, he can still help the team. He's a guy who may not produce a ton offensively, but he won't slow a line down.
I like Pouliot too. I wouldn't be unhappy with either of those guys at the right price. |

ive always thought offensively thinking him as a 20 goal scorer was likely a flash in the pan. but he has good defensive acumen. and if 2.8 is what he is making, and he is due for a cut, i would take a try at him for sure. if you can get lucky and snag him for right under 2 mil, thats outstanding. |

Yeah, 10-15 goals, physicality, and can keep up on both ends of the ice. Don't need him to be a world-beater, especially if he's available at a steep discount. |

exactly. thats 100 percent it, and id be fine with it.
if anything, im glad hes not that 30 goal guy or whatever, because then hed be worth way too much.
people have beaten the whole malkin/kulemin thing to death. realistically, i would roll around like a pig in mud if you convince him to come on board for like a 2 year, 3.75 Mil deal and slot him on the third line to perform exactly how you described. |
