Agree, the Hawks probably feel like their playing on a European ice rink after the Minnesota series.
- Canardhawk

Thought the exact same thing. So much more room in game 1. I expect Sutter will try to change that, but I'm not sure the Kings, as good as they are, can do the same. The Kings will undoubtedly try to slow things down in game 2.

might as well set the other conference....may change if there are better suggestions.

In the

Rusty Lemieux Olesz division we have

2- This team reminds me of the 2011 team
7- Tim Thomas has been blacklisted by the NHL because he skipped the White House visit.

4- Trade Kane to Buffalo for Miller
5- We overpaid for Bickel

3- They Should bring up Mashintor for St Louis....Q needs to send a shot across the bow!
6- Home ice matters in the playoffs

1- Q doesn't like playing kids
8- The Hawks are built for the regular season...not the playoffs

Forgot all about #8. Nice!

In the Steve Gretzky Ott Division we have

2- This team is exposed without a 2C
7- Hossa is playing scared

4- Bowman doesn't have the stones to pull off a major trade
5- Give Pirri a chance

3- Sharp needs that "A" ripped off his sweater!
6- Q doesn't have the players backs

1- If Handzus is not sitting in the press box the hawks won't get past the first round
8- Craawford is a good goalies, not an elite goalie.

EDIT- will continue in July.....like ELi said...but send any suggestions.

Bollig absolutely tuned somebody up too, might have been Doughty(?).

Bollig actually had a pretty good game yesterday, and 15 more shifts than yahoodi predicted on my FB page! HAHAHAHAHAHA

- John Jaeckel

Saw that too...shoulder to center of mass by Bollig. It was Doughty.

not many people did, and a lot of people are still (for some reason) crapping on us. not sure why. we were 1st in the east and made it to the ECF 2 years ago, made it to the 2nd round in a dysfunctional season last year, and after our horrible start where we were adjusting to AV's new system, we have one of the best records in the NHL since new years.

arguably the best defense in the NHL (top 5 for sure), best goalie in the league, and stars like rick nash (who is unstoppable when he is on his game) and MSL (reigning art ross winner) playing on 2 separate lines. our 3rd line has zuccarello who has been our best player all year long and has been outplaying nash and MSL. that's 3 very good scoring lines. and our 4th line is playing like one of the best 4th lines in the league.

stars are aligning for the rangers right now and we're heating up at the right time. 5 wins in a row and 2-0 series lead heading back to NY.

i think we deserve some credit. it's not like we were a basement team last year. we've been decent for a while and have been really good 2 out of the last 3 years. and, we outplayed the defending champs and beat them twice this year

Yeah...they'll probably kick up a fuss, but they're rolled up in a carpet and being hauled to the trunk as we speak. Shovels and pick axe are in the trunk as well.

Not lookin' good.

why not? you guys for example have the best defenseman out of the 2 bluelines in keith, but as a top 3, mcdonagh staal and girardi are a better unit than keith seabrook and hjarlmsson. not to mention stralman, moore, and klein are all good defensemen that can play top-4 minutes well.

Snooze fest.

It was MacKinnon and ROR. Besides. Toews doesn't score pretty goals. Those are extra.

tough to counter....don't follow ranger hockey all that closely...

no not a basement team and yes lundquist does carry the team a long way...

yes rangers beat the hwks twice but that don't mean shyyt now...

yet still amused that this team is on the doorstep of the finals but i give them credit coming back from 3-1 to beat the pens...i thought for sure they were done

Only way Lablanc gets dealt is if someone owes Bowman a big favor...
My guess is he ends up overseas.

No one will want to pay him $575,000 to play in the AHL and he isn't good enough to play in the NHL.

Hawks stay perfect at home, win Game 1. Plus trying to make sense out of the NHL :On The Blackhawks: Fox Chicago:http://bit.ly/1gHw0oq

- Al

He does some things well with the puck, but his skating is simply atrocious. Not a long-term fit in the Hawks system. Regarding unsigned centers, Carey does seem more like the Hawks type of player, but a ways off from anything at this point.

Yes. Keith's better than McD, Seabrook better than Girardi. Hell our offensive 6th D-man is better than yours. Stralman's good though, would like for him to be a be a Hawk
