All I know is Embid at 19? already has a back injury to his resume.........#1, #2 you already have Noel who is about the same size who has yet to play.
I think Dante Exum might be a good choice. I believe Brett Brown coached his father. - ob18
Can exum shoot? I'd pick him then |

Never watched Exum, but I hear he's not a great shooter. They already have MCW who does similar things and plays PG.
There is concern about Embiid's back, but they will run all necessary tests before taking him. If healthy, he's the best prospect. He looks like Hakeem when he plays. |

Yeah, they still get one of the top three which is the main thing.
It will be interesting to see if one of these kids runs their mouths about wanting to go to Philly. Hell, between those three cities I'd be begging for Philly. - hereticpride
I know. There has already been word that certain guys don't want to play in a city like Milwaukee. |

I wouldn't take embiid for this team. They need a scorer. - mayorofangrytown
Having Embiid and Noel would be dominant on defense. Noel is athletic enough to guard 4s.
Even if it doesn't work, they still have tremendous trade value. Maybe you send one of them to the Twolves for Love. Then you have the cap space to sign another max player too. |

He's 18, he can develop the shooting. Also what's wrong with having the back court with 2 guys who can interchange and handle the ball.

Love will not re-sign here, he's already been part of a terrible span in Minnesota, he'll go to a better team. |

It's just an example. They can do what the Celtics did and trade the assets for current talent if they want.
There will be teams that covet the #3 pick very highly |

Still a good spot & hopefully a good prospect..........I just tossed Dante Exum as an example. |

The game is won in the paint. Exum is a complete unknown. He won't even scrimmage for teams against other prospects. I wouldn't use a top 3 pick on him when Embiid is sitting there. |

From what I understand, there's 4 or 5 really good players, and Cleveland hasn't made a good number one pick since LeBron...so, why is anyone upset? |

At this stage, Exum's perimeter shooting remains his most glaring weakness. He shoots the ball from the perimeter with better balance than he did last summer, but his confidence and consistency still leave something to be desired. The next step for Exum as a prospect is becoming a more consistent threat from the outside, something that will give him a legitimate claim to being able to play both guard positions.
Exum's closest physical comparison is Michael Carter-Williams, who measured 6-5 3/4 , 184 pounds with a 6-7 ΒΌ wingspan.

Kyrie Irving is one of the best PGs in basketball. They just don't know how to surround their stars with talent. Lebron was playing with a horrible supporting cast his whole career. |

I don't know, someone has said a few times that this is a hockey forum made for discussing hockey, and that if people want to talk about different topics, there are other places for that. Guess it depends on who's involved in the conversation, though.

I'd prefer Wiggens or Parker, but if you end up with Embid and Noel your defense and rebounding is going to be off the charts. There's more options with the 2nd pick if you get Parker or Wiggens. They are in good position. |

Some believe the Bucks like Embiid the most.
I think Wiggins goes #1, but theres a chance Parker falls to the Sixers. He's the most NBA ready of the 3. He'll score close to 20 ppg in his rookie season. |
