so now that im in full offseason mode, im just looking at capgeek stuff. both of these teams are kindve in a position in which some holes are going to be opening, but they dont appear to have a lot of space to work with.

giroux and letang both have raises coming that will eat pretty much whatever the cap rises

With a $70mm cap the Flyers will have just over $5mm in cap space.

They hopefully can find takers for Lecavalier and Grossmann or Luke Schenn(preferably Grossmann) to clear a bit of room, and find a decent stay at home physical guy for around $1.2mm or so and then try to fill a couple spots with kids

If there's one thing you have to give Vinny credit for, he definitely seemed to understand his own limitations -- he told everybody he couldn't play left, but nobody really listened to him, lol.
