That's the big question... who out there fills the Rick Tocchet-like image that we are looking for? Wayne Simmonds? Milan Lucic? We're not getting either of those guys.
- rival22

Maybe it's those guys before they were those guys. Someone young , big , can skate maybe potting 10-15 goals right now. Key is finding him and actually being able to acquire him

honestly....

chris stewart.

he can play, he's fiesty, he can fight, he needs a change of scenery..hes good 2 way, can hit.

personally, im a leafs fan, but i think thats close to a perfect fit for a guy to play with crosby/kunitz; oh, and he plays in the west....so you are not trading in the same conference...could work!

He just seems like one of those guys who plays when he wants to play. I don't know...

No, you're thinking of Tanner Glass. If he can just work on his hands a little, and his skating, he'd be perfect

he was incredible before he got traded, i think hes kind of miss-used on STL.

what more gives you the drive to play 100% when you are playing with the best player in the world in Crosby...i dunno, just my thoughts!

Isn't Stewart in Buffalo? I wouldn't mind acquiring him. Only problem is he seems to disappear at times. Like he is disinterested

I'm ready to buy new hands for myself. I'm in on a break fake a shot go backhand goalie is helpless I flub it and into the corner it goes. I've been seeing it my mind all day. Eating me alive

I agree with this. Playing with 87 for a full season could make any part timer take it more seriously.

I also think Bickell might be a target but he comes with a hefty price tag. I think he will ultimately be a luxury they can't afford when 18 and 88 get extended.

If they resign him after the we need to get younger and ELC pounding of the chest by Burkle I'd be shocked. I think the new GM has 2 things in mind get younger and tougher to play against and do it fast

Minus his frailty you under estimate what he means to this organization. Almost on a Matt Cooke under appreciation type of level, but not quite.

Take him out back of Console and put a bullet in him. Then go get a new puppy so all the kids forget about him

I was always a chris stewart fan, but his inconsistency is not what the pens need. Maybe playing with Sid or geno can spark something for him, but I wouldn't hold my breathe.

How about Neal to the yotes for Hanzal, or some deal centering around that

Chris Stewart is one of the biggest malcontents of the league. He only plays when he wants.

Can we just give Rob Scuderi's last three years of his contract to Orpik and call it a day?

I think Brooks' time is catching up to him, but he's Shea Weber compared to Scuderi.

Do we have any package that could get Kane?
