Try drafting a legit one this year instead on trying to sign your treasure when it's really just another teams trash...Stastny had a good season this year after years of mediocrity...He's going to be like Brad Richards, a guy who lights it up when he's in his last season of contract and then will go back to blending in the background when he get's signed to a long term deal again. If you had a chance to get Malkin, Getzlaf, Thornton, then YES...by all means, sign them, but Paul Stastny is not a #1 centerman, but will ask for #1 centerman money.

AGREED 1000%. Nothing wrong with the Bozak/Kessel/JVR line. RC was just a stupid fool to overplay them. He did the same to Dion. No wonder the team was gassed in the last 15 games. Leafs need to uprade the 2nd line & the D. So no worry, the Leafs aint over payin to put Stastny on the 2nd line.

That's why I asked... was hoping to hear a ripe old age so I could say he lived a good long life. 63's too young. Not too too young but a guy's perfect life IMO should make it between 75-80.
