Why the hell would you sign Bolland and trade Bozak? Bozak centered one of the best lines in hockey last year. Bolland is a small, injury prone third liner who will cost more than Bozak.

playing better offence would help. bring in bieksa for added leadership and to play with dion. resign/extend franson to a 1 yr, 2.5 mil contract and traded him at the deadline. by that time some of the d-men from the marlies should good to replace him.

they have to sign ror mackinnon and duchene, those guys are the core

Stastny already said he would take a discount to stay in Denver, Duchene is signed for 5 more years, Landeskog is signed for 7 more years and the Avs have nearly 26 mil in capspace to sign 6 players this offseason. Not to mention Parenteau and Tanguay (7.5mil combined) will be off the books when MacKinnon is due for a new contract. Point being is the Avs have plenty of room to sign everyone and more.

Not saying it will happen but the Avs can easily re-sign both Stastny and ROR this season as well as MacKinnon and EJ in 2 seasons when their contracts are up...

I think Bolland is slightly better and I said cheap.. and if its similar to Bozak 4-4.25 ..keep the term short. otherwise let me go.

Either way sell high on Bozak he will not have another season shooting 22%
JVR and Kessel can play with anyone,.. Bozak is nothing to that line

We have to stop giving big money to supporting guys like Bolland. The contenders don't do that.

I see nothing in Bolland that says he's better than Bozak. Bolland isn't even good on faceoffs. He's a 3rd line centre.

Let Holland be one of the top 3 centres imo.

I don't think Stastny is the answer either. I think the better option is to use any money to move around the D. Bring in a partner for Dion if we're keeping him and go from there.

Our center position isn't ideal but it certainly isn't the largest detriment to the team.

This is true, Stastny is the better centerman and has better faceoffs percentages than bozak, either way the all out american line or a tag team duo of thorton and kessel will look nice next the following season but.... knowing the leafs, nothing happens
