How come Carter doesn't clank shots of Hawks goaltenders masks anymore? |

He won't post it. He'll piggyback it though. Seeing that gif would be like a wet dream for him.

Yup. Plind would post it, Winning would post it each day thereafter.

If they credit the deflection to Carter, he has a hat trick. |

Gostisbehere has a great chance to make the team and I think he'll contribute right away. He's one of the best D prospects out there. - TonyBazz
In the last 20 years, I'm trying to remember a Flyers d-man prospect with the potential skating and shooting ability of Ghost. He has such a unique blend of the two. Pitkanen and Gus didn't have the shooting ability. Niinnama wasn't the skater. Tertyshny was pretty close to Ghost, not quite the skater.

unless he blows us away in camp, Ghost should start in the AHL. - Giroux_Is_God
He's responsible enough defensively right now to not be a liability in that area and I think that would be the only reason he wouldn't make the Flyers out of training camp this summer. |

He's also really small. He's got a shot, for sure, but he's going to need to bulk up. |

Yup.
His wheels and offensive instincts are nothing to scoff at. If he adds 10 pounds and learns the ropes defensively playing against men...let's just say he'd be a steal out of the 3rd round.
Hopefully he pans out. |

I agree. The kid can fly, he has a great shot which he gets off very quickly and it's accurate too. He also has an extremely active stick and is a takeaway machine. To me, he's almost a lock to make the Flyers next season. I already have visions of him playing alongside Luke Schenn. |

One thing he'll need to learn is how to avoid taking big hits. Thats something Gus never adjusted to as a smaller dman. He seemed to get injured quite a bit.
Even if Ghost looks good in camp, I would rather send him to the AHL and allow him to adjust to that speed before throwing him into the fire. |

I do believe you'll be disappointed.
Remember. He's a takeaway machine against college kids. He's not a liability on D against college kids.
The NHL is not made up of college kids. |

Me too. He should play top pair minutes in the AHL until 2015. Once a dman gets injured after Christmas, he should be an option for a promotion. I'd give him 30+ AHL games though. |

Yeah. I would like to see him start in the AHL no matter what.
I don't want to hear the dreaded "He didn't look out of place, so we kept him up with the big club" |
