Yea but if 4 months puts him around the start of camp, then preseason etc... it wouldn't be far fetched to assume he misses little regular season time.

Might affect Pouliot's bid with the big club more than #3 or #19.

Jets fan suggested Sutter Maatta and a pick for Kane. Not sure how I feel about it. The pick I think is pushing it to far. I think I'd decline though I just can't deal Maatta when we are losing Nisk and Orpik. Be nice to get Kane and keep Neal though. Top 6 would be pretty lethal.

Wonder if this is the benchmark for G contracts this offseason? Would make moving Fleury & replacing him with a cheaper, comparable goalie a little more difficult.
