Why would Buffalo sign Orpik? Are they not still rebuilding? I don't follow this team closely so I am asking you guys.

I would commend them if they signed vets and actually tried(I'm looking at you in disgust Edmonton Oilers) but I think they might go full scale rebuild and tank on purpose.(again...looking at you EDM)

They need to spend money to get to cap floor . If not they do not participate in League revenue sharing . I think they could find better ways to spend the money if they try.
