Did you see that giveaway by subban? Habs should get rid of him immediately. |

Well, with some of the comments being made about Halak, absolutely I think most of you are unaware with how pathetic your defense will be next year without significant additions, and no, Griffin Reinhart doesnt count as a significant addition.
"If he wants out, he can force his way out"
This statement is in a vacuum. It has nothing to do with how he felt in the past. IF he wants out. He could change his mind tomorrow, next month, next year... IF that happens, he can make it happen. - theblueandgold
No he doesn't count but you can't count him out either. I'd say dehaan is an already big addition though. Can he have a sophomore slump? Sure. But I'm not so sure as sabre fans are for some bizarre reason that we are going to go into next season with the same defense when we have to spend 13 million just to reach the floor. Kind of doesn't make any sense. Nobody thinks Halak is Roy but he makes our team better. We had the worst gaa in the league. Believe me it wasn't all our blue line. Our goaltending was some of the worst I've seen in my life. |

You'll add most by default. But if I can be honest, I see you adding like a Mezaros. The best available dman this year is Dan Boyle, a difference maker (if an old one), but as someone mentioned... Colorado or the Isles...
You could possibly move that pick for someone... Phaneuf? |

Notice how he was left on the bench once again in the last minute protecting a lead..... How is that a Norris worthy player? |

I can see phaneuf happening. Most of my fellow isles fans would disagree but I wouldn't mind him if he comes at a reasonable price. I think we'd see a better player once he got out of Toronto and away from the press and everything that comes with being a player for that team. Guy is a good defenseman IMO. Bad contract or not. I doubt snow is going to be picky in that aspect(contracts/term)this offseason. Results are important more so than before between going to Brooklyn and last seasons failures. As you know I'm no fan of Snow but you're not going to see his usual sit on his hands routine this offseason. That's if there's not a new owner and he's not fired already by then. Also, nobody knows what is available via trade for a draft that hasn't happened yet. I can see him trading that pick for some immediate help in a package. |

Or go huge on Niskanen. I think the pens move heaven and earth to resign him, however. |

You never know? I get past history. I'm not some homer. Believe me. Far from it but I'm pretty sure this isn't going to be like the last couple of off seasons for multiple reasons. If Snow sits on his hands I'll be right there with you guys. |

Not really. Look at milburys tenure while wang owned the team. Guy is loyal to a huge, enormous fault. Beats a dead horse. Snow has done some good with our youth and he's made some good late round picks not just our first rounders but he's not the GM to take this team to the next level. Wang is in sell mode. He's not changing GM's while actively trying to sell the team. Snow will most probably be gone after this season if new ownership takes over. |

I bet that pick will be like 12th. Isles will be better next with with Tavares back and stable tending. |

I see the islanders being better, but I see the other bottom teams being better for the most part as well
So Im having a tough time picking teams they'll finish ahead of
I think the Oilers finally contend for a playoff spot this year, they just had everything go wrong for them
Florida's has a good blend of youth and vets, plus Luongo who is still pretty darn good
Healthy Vancouver is back in the playoff running
Nashville & Phoenix always seem to be on the cusp
I could see Ottawa being pretty bad if they trade Spezza & Ryan, so maybe that's one team the Nyi can jump over
Even the Leafs look stronger top to bottom than the Isles
I think their overall play should improve,
But I don't see different results for the Isles for a few more years still
As of right now...
1) sabres
2) flames
3) isles |

What do you expect? He chased the money. Didn't care about winning or losing. And look where that got him.
It's in his character. - bloatedmosquito
He said no thanks to the almost same deal from the Islanders.

At the top of their games, Myers is the better player by a country mile when Myers is on top of his game he's dominant. Ehrhoff is just pretty good - sbroads24

The Myers debate gets tiring here. He had a really strong season ....... And yet you see articles that list him as a buyout candidate.
Unfortunately I have a feeling people won't see how good he is until our team improves a lot - sbroads24
So then he in't a difference maker......
Difference makers make others better around them. Something he doesn't.
Not a knock against him.
Just the honest truth.
Good not great player.
As I've said numerous of times. He isn't a franchise d-man. A very nice 2/3 guy is what he is. |

That's foolish because the Islanders had a ton of injuries, and a team save percentage of .895 last year. The odds are that they won't have as many injuries, the young players will only improve, and they just added Jaroslav Halak (career .918 sp, .921 last season). The odds are very bad that next year's pick is worse than 5th overall; it's likely to be closer to 15th or 20th overall. - isles10289
On a team that it is miles ahead of your team defensively. Also has nagging injury issues. He continues on his recent trend.......thanks for the pick. |

Correct me if i'm wrong , but I think Buffalo only has two second rounders in 2015, they traded LA's back to LA. - dakoolaidman88
We actually have 3 in 2014, but yea..we traded LA's 2014 and 2015 back to them and replaced them with MIN's 2016 and WPG 2014 from MIN
So..
2014 2nds - Buf, Min, Wpg
2015 2nds - Buf, NYI
2016 2nds - Buf, Min |
