I've never liked either of those guys.
I remember Stephen A Smith saying Philadelphia never embraced McNabb because he was black. Somehow the fans have always revered Dawkins though.
My favorite Stephen A Smith moment was when he said he was sure the Denver Nuggets, with AI and Melo, would win the NBA Finals. He was sure of it. The Nuggets were promptly swept by the Lakers in the first round.
I'm not saying analysts should be right all the time, but EVERYONE who watched basketball knew the Nuggets couldn't defend and would never win a series. Only some idiot would pick them. The Nuggets were an 8 seed for a reason.

i hear Lavine might need a year in the D leauge...im too impatient for that poop.
Dario would play the 3....yes at 6'10 - Crimsoninja
Morin!!!!!
Sixers aren't going anywhere next year. These young guys will play right away. Lavine will work through his problems. I really don't want the team to go into next year with a bunch of rookies like last year. I understood why they did it last year, but this team needs some veterans to show the ropes. I don't care if they overpay or if they are washed up. Wouldn't mind a guy like Elton Brand or someone similar to him. |

Watching the Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid Champions Match....
Gus Johnson is unlistenable. All he does is screams the players name. You have no idea what is going on. He is Fox's top guy and is signed on to do the World Cup. Ive heard him over the years doing Pac-12 games snd hes not bad snd brings some excitement to the broadcast but his soccer skills blow - KINGKENZO
Gus Johnson is the single, most overrated announcer in the history of sports announcing. And this is not an attempt at hyperbole. Gus Johnson is awful. At every sport. |

The AI and Melo prediction was particularly bad, considering both players aren't great without the ball in their hands.

Let's he honest here you'd rip your shirt off too if you scored in a sport where 1/4th of the final scores are "nil-nil".
Soccer: the only time "nil" is a number. |

The Habs are such winy pukes. I cant take that franchise. Briere female doging about anyone's let alone Mcdonoughs stickwork is hilarious. Now Therrien female doging about the Rangers GM watching their practice. Man I hate rootin for the blueshirts but I gotta do it. |

Myers was a lot better this year. He is starting to turn the corner from what I hear - Just5
And who's to say Myers doesn't turn the corner again and end up where he started? To put it in perspective, we were all just singing the same tune last season about Luke Schenn. If he's an affordable reclamation, I say go for it. If it's costing me one of my A+ assets (like Luke Schenn cost us JvR), I'll pass. |

I don't think the flyers can send away any of the young forwards for D help. We are thin at forward in the prospect ranks.
I'm not crazy about Myers but I thought I heard he looked a lot better this year than the last couple.
The expectation for Luke this year should be our 2nd pairing along with AMac. I expect him to get 17-18 mins a night or so. AMac helps him keep it simple out there. Hope hes up to the challenge.

Where Tyler Myers started was the best Rookie of his rookie class during his rookie year. |

I like Luke as second pairing AMac but we need a legit # 1 pair .... Coburn and ? I would gladly trade BSchenn and Grossman for Myers or player of his calibre |

I'm more leery of his contract than him as a player. He's big and has all the physical tools. Buffalo has been a poopshow, and who knows how that contract affected his play? Maybe that deal put extra burden on him and he simply didn't handle the pressure well. |

Or he just simply needs a change of scenery and better players around him |

Possible. He did have a pretty good bounce back year this past season. |

He has been playing with a poor Buffalo team for a couple years. IMO he could bring a lot to current Flyers D core. You would have to move Grossman. Myers is young and has a lot of potential. |
