Totally. Its not just the laceration from last year either. He has been historically susceptible to various injuries and with what he is reportedly asking, it would be prudent to just move on from him. The key for us is to ensure that we DO NOT finish in the middle of the pack (or just out of playoff contention). ...but we all know how that usually turns out for us.

I saw Esmil Rogers pitch against the Twins in Minneapolis last September. Rogers went 7 or 8 innings and the Jays won 2-1 but some the stars were out of the Jays lineup (Bautista, Encarnacion, Rasmus, Lind).

It would be great to make that trade, then turn around and trade the first overall to Edmonton or Buffalo for some juicy stuff and still end up with Reinhart or Bennett. (frank) these drugs are good.
