There was a lot of guessing and speculation that the Bills were trying to trade up, many saying 1st to Houston for Jadeveon Clowney to make their D-line all world, speculation about maybe Robinson the OT. I mean if you are trying to trade up into the top 4 and there are 4 obvious top, blue chip prospects in the draft there was going to be some specualtive hits on Watkins. Hindsight makes it seem so obvious now but when that 1st round started not many had the Bills trading up to get a WR in the top 4.

and you state you know more than all, cause you saw him in a game, and dont overvalue him. Yet you say Reinhart is a number one center. Yet almost all, including people who are much more knowledgeable than either you and I, do not believe in your over evaluation of Reinhart.

I see people saying that he may be the best player in the draft and if so should the Sabres take him. I don't want to jump on the tar and feathering of you but you always bring up his "exceptional" status. I have wanted a forward all year but if Murray and the scouts think Ekblad is too good or "exceptional" to pass up I'll be limp but take it.

Where have you read my evaluation of Reinhart . Being in the west I have repeated what I have read , just watched the few games I could on Sportsnet ( I have a Bell expressview dish ). That Murray says he is the smartest player on the ice. I tend to believe that form other reports I have read . I don't want another defenseman with our first pick when that is our strength already . Really want someone that will help us score more goals and make the players around him better.

I think the Ekblad vs Reinhart vs Bennett debate is a fascinating one
What I think ppl aren't realizing here is that Murray is trying to build a TEAM

He hasn't drafted any of these guys

If he thinks Myers isn't a #1, but Ekblad is...
Then YES... Maybe he takes Ekblad & trades Myers

What roles does he see guys like Grigorenko, Hodgson, Ennis, Girgensons, etc filling?
That will play a role in how he sees Bennett fit in vs how Reinhart fits
When players are this close in talent, these kinds of thoughts should come into play

Just don't see Bennett as a center at the next level , our biggest need is centers at this point. He will be a good winger with his style. I see Girgensons filling the bruising center position. Whoever it is they are going back to junior for another year anyways .

What I said about Ekblad was that IF Murray thought he graded out better than Myers, it wouldn't surprise me if he traded Myers for a forward & picked Ekblad
I also said I like ekbkad more than myers & would make that type deal depending what return I got for Myers
Yet the entire time...
I NEVER swayed once from the opinion that I'd take Reinhart
