I dont think he would return two NHL ready prospects and a 1st.

If anything it would be one prospect that is ready to jump into the NHL this year, and another that needs a little more time.

I saw it on saturday, Ill be honest, I was one who never understood all the hate for X3. I liked all 5, the only annoyance I find among them, is their William Stryker timeline.

Columbus has made the playoff's twice in their history.

Montreal drafted 3rd and made the playoff's the following year(and won the division).

Philly drafted 2nd(while being the worst team in the league) and made it to the ECF the following year.

My point was it was a quick turn around between 2012 and 2013, nothing to do with what there history was.

They drafted 2nd overall and were widely expected to be the worst team in hockey and that off-season they made no big name acquisitions (in fact their biggest one was injured for the entire year). And they still managed to come within a point of a playoff spot.

The only other thing that bothered me with this one was the whole Inception thing with Wolverine.

I'm not comparing the three. My original point was about quick turn arounds. Going from worst team in the league to competing for a playoff spot till the final game (when everyone expected you to be last again) is a quick turn around. Is it on the same scale of Philly and Montreal? Of course not, but that doesn't take anything away from the fact that they surprised everyone.

Had Columbus played the 1st 3rd of the season the way they played the last 2/3rds then yes. They didn't and hence why they didn't make it. Not a surprise. Bobo was the surprise(cause that mfer cairried that team) not the rest of them. I was not surprised by what Bobo did as I along with some others(Homie for one) said we should've been all over that deal. Big reason why Philly continues to fail.

Trade the young know and wonder why you still struggle in net? Something that has been their MO since (unfortunately) Pelle left this Earth.

My family leaves Thursday morning, I took Friday off, leaving me basically 3 full days of loneliness. I'll be seeing X-men for a few of those hours.

Man what are you smoking? Wow!! You have absolute no idea what you are talking about. Give up 2 future top defensmen for the third overall pick? You do know that Zadorov and Ristolainen would be top 5 candidates in this years draft right? So you'd really wanna give up two top 5's for one top 5? Makes absolutely ZERO sense.

I would see if they could get 2 of Sheahan/Pulkkinen/Frk for Hoff(add parts if needed on either side). With the hope for Sheahan and Pulkkinen.

I was furious when Pulkkinen was still there in rd 3 and 4 and Buffalo passed. Detroit got him in rd 4 at 111. Buffalo picked 68,75,83, and 98. They took Jerome Gauthier-Leduc, Kevin Sundher, Matt Mackenzie, and Steven Shipley. Detroit got the steal of that draft IMO. Had Pulkkinen not blown out his knee, he was a top 5 pick all day.
