Too bad you can't be suspended for embellishment that egregious, which is debatable as to if more egregious than coming off the bench during a fight for ruining hockey's brand. Only one of these is comparable to soccer. |

Galchenyuk is a star?
Pacioretty is a star?
How many goals do they have in the playoffs when everything is on the line?
And the Wings will finish higher than the Habs next year. Book it. - StargateSG1

i think he hit himself with his own stick. besides, this happens all the time. the refs wait till an elimination game game in the final four to start calling it, of course. |

Eklund, you're wrong. Some players are just better at 12-13 minutes and other shines while playing 30.
I'm not convinced at all that Briere would perform better if he played 19 minutes. |

Funny though, if the Bruins did this there would be 3400 comments from Habs fans about how BS that is and how much Boston is a bunch of divers etc..... |

After 5 games we've had a blow out for each team, 2 games go to overtime and then another victory for the Rangers. How exactly is that owning the other coach?
I personally feel that this game would be different if Price was there. Tokarski has been good, but he has let in 1-2 banana goals a game. Price proved he could stop the best goal scorer in the game, and then the best team in the league. If he was in nets, despite the heorics of Tokarski then I am sorry but this series has a different feel.
And eniough about Briere. Yes he is a playoff performer and is scoring goals but who des he replace? Gallagher? Galchenyuk? Eller? Bourque? pacioretty? Desharnais, Plekanec, Gionta? Vanek?
There is no room on the top 9 as it is. |

Ek, it's good to see that you never let your personal bias impact your blogs. There's simply no reason that Brière isn't logging 60+ minutes a night right now is there... - hankthetank

this is what happens when you start celebrating like you've won the cup after narrowly beating the bruins.
so pathetic that the habs are turning to embellishment/diving just to try and stand a chance against the far superior rangers.
what a disgraceful team. their goalie gets accidently taken out because of emelin, so they decide to send their 4th liners after the rangers best players. then they send their oscar worthy actors like subban and plekanec to draw bs penalties by flopping around on the ice.
the rest of canada was cheering for Boston to beat Vancouver for the same reasons. canadian hockey does not include these theatrical performances, this isn't soccer. habs need to realize injuries are a part of the game, they beat the bolts without bishop, yet tampa didnt embellish. boston played with ahl guys on D, injuries happen to everyone. better luck next year! - sensnucksnocups
Canucks fan bitterness on display here. The rest of us are quite enjoying watching the downward spiral that is the Vancouver Canucks! Thanks for this post, it just proves the point further. "Mr. Softie" Linden will only make things worse in Vancouver.

Isn't it pretty much...rule #1 if you want to be taken seriously while commenting in another teams playoff thread...DON'T TALK ABOUT HOW WELL YOUR TEAM WILL DO NEXT YEAR IF THEY HAVE ALREADY BEEN ELIMINATED THIS YEAR. -- ???
Yeah...the Pens will win the cup next year...16-0 in the playoffs. MAF 10 shut outs and Con Smythe shared with Crosby who will have 55 points including 32 goals and 6 hat tricks. My team will be WAY better than your pathetic Canadiens. Book it! |

That was a bad one for sure.........people need to realize though, every team does this! I don't like it, but it happens, Quit commenting saying "your" team is innocent. Move on people, some time it works, some time it doesn't. |
