Yes they were penalties, didn't really seeing anyone argue they weren't. The point being, if you take a high stick to the shoulder, and you act like you just took a slug to the forehead, should that player also be called for embellishing? Just like if a player gets tripped, and decides to do a full superman, its a wash. - mdw7413
I get that. But saying that they are the worst team in the NHL for diving? That's just dumb. |

It's no use.
The homerism is all time high with that one.
Or maybe Lasik surgery didn't make it to Montreal yet.

Nope... just didn't see that penalty...

1. Whats your point? Lundqvist is a Ranger, not a ringer they brought in for the playoffs.
2. Lundqvist doesn't score goals.
3. Lundqvist isn't the only reason the Rangers are like 2-500 on the PK.
4. Lundqvist has nothing to do with the Team's possession numbers on the other side of the Ice.
5. Out of the 18 playoff games played so far, Lundqvist has really stolen maybe 3 games. The team scoring and offensive contribution is the rest. - xcheckmajor
Get used to hit.
Just like "Price stole the series against Boston" even if Montreal scored 7 goals in game 6 and 7, it's "all on Price" |

Let me ask you this:
If I swing a stick near your face, do you snap your head back as a reflex or you just stay there ice cold thinking "wow that was close"? |

Chara: "Sorry officer. I didn't mean to kill that guy!"
Officer: "Ok. You can go."
Doesn't work that way bud. Whether he meant to do it or has an IQ below 70 is irrelevant. It is still one of the ugliest acts I have ever seen on the ice. - Jebus_Price

He looked incredibly frustrated. He's usually a much better player than that. Especially when it matters.
Guess he'll file these playoffs under "experience" and be better for it. |

I also don't get the, Kreider knocked out Price so thats why we're winning comments. Did the MTL fans seem to just erase the fact Price was in Game 1? How did he fair? No, it couldn't be the Rangers as a team are firing on all cylinders in all 3 zones right now and outplaying MTL. |

He has a very delayed reflex then. And he wasn't hit in the face. |

Oh he was totally frustrated. Shanking shots, couldn't catch a pass to save his life. He is usually one the better guys in the post season when engaged and moving his feet. Totally bizarre and I agree with you I hope he leaves that poop in the past. |

The Habs look like the Habs, which fortunately for them, they managed to avoid in the second round. |

They certainly outplayed the Habs in Game 1. Habs were coming off an emotionally fuelled series with the B's...
I think if the Rangers and Habs had more animosity for one another it may have been a different story. they were not in the game from puck drop. Also, they were down 4-1 when Price was injured... the blowout started AFTER he was out.
Game 2... the Rangers did not outplay the Habs, King Henrik did.
Game 3 and 4 the Habs equalled the Rangers and had stellar goaltending.
To sum it up... game 1 all Rangers, game 2 all Lundqvist, Game 3 and 4 evenly matched.

Ah, ok, thought maybe you had me mixed up. I just hate the embellishing whether its my team or any team in the league. Wish the league would really be strict about it, and start fining players after the fact. |
