The last CBA straightened all that out with set rookie contracts based on draft position and on field position. Thank god, best thing to happen in the NFL in decades. That holdout poop was terrible, plus the contracts ate up 1/5 of the cap room for a guy who never played a lick of pro football.

TMZ Sports spoke with Wong who says he was sitting behind the Blackhawks bench -- and was heckling Crawford -- when the goalie was pulled from the game toward the end of the 3rd period.

That's when Crawford -- who's in the middle of a 6-year, $36 MILLION contract -- allegedly whipped out a water bottle and blasted him right in the face.

Wong says he believes the bottle was filled with backwash -- along with water -- and it has caused serious irritation to his eyes. Wong says he's going to a doctor to get his eyes checked.

Quick question, my brother in law will be in LA on June 11th, and has a chance to go the SCF if LA is home. The NHL just announced game 4 will be on 6/11, do either east teams have a chance at home ice advantage, so then game 4 could be in LA then?

LA and Montreal have identical records, with Montreal having more ROW, so I would assume they would get home ice in that regard. The Rangers have only 96 points so LA would be at home.

As an aside, it feels weird knowing that this season is going to be the last one of Hockey Night in Canada as we know it. I know they will be showing games next year, but under the Rogers platform isn't quite going to feel the same.
