I also want Viranen, however, I do not think it would cost that much to move up and get him, that is 31,39 plus a future first and ehrhoff. I think you could take out the 1st, and be able to do that.

If they play it right they could get player(s) between 21-24 on the cusp or just entered the NHL with a lot of promise. We already made plenty of mid to late 1st round additions and have more on the way. At this point, unless it gets us to the top 5, i'd like to see them bring in players who are closer to making the NHL than raw prospects.

Size which is odd because you'd think montreal beating boston would have deflated that myth a bit.

If they play it right they could get player(s) between 21-24 on the cusp or just entered the NHL with a lot of promise. younger and cheaper options out there for detroit, and I wouldn't go as far as saying its a perfect fit.

Even if they're willing to give up Sheahan and Pulkkinen I bet they could make a deal for someone that would be better for them long term.
