I hate that Ek has us in the Evander Kane mix. That said....

Only way to get a player like Evander Kane is if the pick is included.


The asking price IMO will be multiple 1st's (this yr and next), a roster player(need to take salary back), and an NHL ready-almost NHL ready prospect.

My guess is that's what the Islanders use the 5th pick for. They work out a deal without having their pick next year.

E.Kane/Tavares/Okposo would be a mfer to play against.

Girgs is about as untouchable as one can get. TM said you're gonna have to over pay to get him. Nobody is overpaying at this time for him.

I'm mixed on the idea honestly. IMO Kane is prime to have a blow up season. He also has had some character issues(much like another Kane we know). A move might wake him up IMO.

It could also blow up in Buffalo's face.

I'm worried about the lack of speed we have in our potential top 6 players

Grigs, Girgs, Armia, none of them are burners. Neither is Hodgson, and while Ennis is a great skater, he's not that fast north and south
