Re read (reid, reed) what I wrote. I didn't say they don't add good value, but they are not the most important piece in building a winner.

And two things. #1, there's no concrete proof to support the fact that they actually offered him that contract, a bunch of people denied it right away and if it was really true guys on TSN and it's equivelant would have been all over that.

#2, Even if it were true, aside from that being a dumb idea just because they pay him like that doesn't mean they think scoring wingers are the most vital piece in building a team. That would imply they think he's better than Crosby, which again is ridiculous.

Yea you start by getting franchise players (Mackinnon) then you add guys like Skinner. Because I bet you no GM would trade Mackinnon for Skinner. The value of a playmaking two way centre far exceeds that of a scoring winger.

Personally, I wouldn't trade McKinnon for Skinner either.

But you never know, there's a lot of firepower in Coloroado... Skinner's stats could be just as good there, he's a sniper.

He'd be good fit in Buffalo I think. They're looking for young goal scorers. If I could swap him for Myers, I'd make that trade.
