2 off of this list of guy's will be gone by trade.

B Schenn
L Schenn
S Couturier
B Coburn
M Streit
S Hartnell
V Lecavalier
M Read
N Grossmann

Now for who, and for what is another question. Jokinen on LW would be nice. Nikitin, Nikita on D maybe as a FA. Maybe even a Justin Schultz from Edmonton.

I really hope the flyers use patience and keep B Schenn. He's young and at the right age to blossom right around the time this team should be a contender again.

We should have dealt him years ago. He's on the decline.

People keep saying he used to be a good writer. What happened to him?

Both Schenn bros + Simmonds to EDM for Eberle & the 3rd pick in the draft

Might as well suggest something crazy & have some fun with it.

- iladel90

Deal. The more I think of it it's not bad. Eberle would solve the wing problem with g. And we'd get either bennet/Reinhardt/ekblad. A future #1 dman or a extremely solid 1a center. Schenn is looking more like a versteg type player every day. Luke is what he is. No big lose. Simmer while I like him a lot really only bring pp power. All nice things but the 2 players we'd get back are major building blocks and with more talent. Ideally we could get rid of Vinny or buy him out in seperate deal

If it is me I don't move either Schenn....

If I am Hextall and trying to "undo" moves that Homer made... I may move Brayden but not Luke.

If, in true Ed Snider reactionary, scorched earth, win now fashion, I trade both brothers.

So...almost anything is possible.

As some other have stated, if he was to be traded for a #1 or 2 defenseman that can move the puck to replace Timonen then I would do it. Other than that as a 22 year old I would say his skill set is still growing and he will blossom into a pretty nice scorer in the future. Let's not forget we gave up on P Sharp and J Williams early on too and look at the players they have become. The same goes for his 25 year old brother, most D-men in the league don't come into their own until their mid 20's early 30's, while he may never be a #1 PP guy he will be rock steady and mostly injury free for years to come. If any of our D-men are to be moved it should be Coburn as he is riddled with inconsistency and is severely prone to standing around and watching the play happen like he has a front row seat.

I was right with you until the Coburn part. If Coburn is traded, and there isn't a comparable defenseman in return, the outcome will not be pleasant, and the team will suffer. This I can promise.

I would only trade him for the high end d man that we need.

How about Schenn Brothers plus to Nashville for Weber?
