Yeah. I didn't know much about him, but there aren't many 19 year olds who are ready for full time NHL action. Wilson is definitely not one of them.
Edit: Picking Wilson and giving up Filip Forsberg for Erat are two pretty bad moves. - PhillySportsGuy
Hugh Jessiman, Ben Eager, Chris Dingman, Wade Belak, Mike Rupp, Scott Parker, Kyle Beach.... whyyyy NHL teams... whyyyyyyyyyyy?????

I think this blog needs a culture change - PhillySportsGuy
i think this whole website needs a (frank)ing overhaul. JFC, how about reinvesting some of the money you're making into a refresh, and adding some features to improve the function and experience. slum loard. i'll go cry moar. |

Wilson is the classic example of why you shouldn't rush a player.
Let's bring up our first round pick and have him play as an energy forward on the 4th line with limited minutes. That will be much better than top line minutes in Juniors with first unit PP time. - PhillySportsGuy
exactly. now he will most likely never develop those skills that could have been acquired playing that role. |

litrilly, I do hate all the things.
I told my brother today, very calmly, as that was unfolding, "I'm going to kill all the living things"
I didn't follow through, but I went on a fly killing escapade in my house. Killed like 4 in 30 seconds. I was cold blooded. |

Step 1: Find Richards a RW like Patrick Kane - PhillySportsGuy
I agree that Dustin Brown, Justin Williams, Jeff Carter or Marian Gaborik are no Patrick Kane. |

i understand. i feel this way at least once a day. sometimes once an hour.
however, you should not feel this way now, as it seems you'll be able to get tickets tomorrow. or you can scalp online. either way, if you really want to go, you should be able to. personally, i think it will be boring as (frank)ing hell. even if had not moved this past winter, i still wouldn't go. |

Dude Boyle picking up loose puck at his blue line when we have two dman back and he skates it up the wing and gets around both dmen and gets a shot off is as bad as if you or I jumped out if the stands and did the same thing. Sorry I'm so offensive just my blood boyles at the thought. And yes that was a pun - Sms401
now. im not a hockey coach. but if boyle picked up a puck at his own blue line, and managed to make a beeline to your own net, past your defenders, i feel as though he must also have had to go past your wingers as well.
is at least slighly impeding his path not within their job description? |

At the same time, Mike Richards had 41 points to Michal Handzus' 16 points during the regular season, while Richards had "less talented support." |
