They don't win as much that is for sure. Couturier & Voracek are keepers but not all stars yet. The other 2 I'd be opened to moving in the right deal.

Simmonds benefits from the skill around him on the power play. I think there are other guys that could fill that spot & play with more skill on line rushes & make better passes in general. Also I said in the right deal I'm not interested in giving him away.

Flyers management have yet to realize that in a cap era you can't make trades like a 1, 2, 3 and young prospect for a 39 year old player.

Name the player that did nothing in Philly? It took place before the Cap era.

I would move any player in the right deal. I think Simmonds is alright at 5v5. He's a good board player, but not great in his own end.

He spent much of the season with VL. I think he would reap the benefits of playing with guys who compliment his game a little better.

He's a GREAT pp player though. It may not look like he does a lot, but his net front play is outstanding.

He's also one of the few guys we have signed at a very reasonable number.

Flyers certainly could've gotten more for a top prospect a 1,2, 3 for a guy that played 14 games and did nothing. I hated the trade when it happened and it was an awful trade.
