They don't win as much that is for sure. Couturier & Voracek are keepers but not all stars yet. The other 2 I'd be opened to moving in the right deal. - iladel90
other than Giroux any flyer player should be available |

pretty dumb thing to do right getting outshot 16-4, Richards in the box that period. - Just5
Honestly think that is the reason why they were outshot in that period? Sutter is an outstanding Coach. He knows what he's doing.

You're nuts! Simmonds in my mind plays equally as well as Voracek within each player's own role. They both do, what they do very well. - SuperSchennBros
I love Simmonds game 5 ft from the net and in....the rest of it is below average for a top 6 winger in this league IMO. |

Simmonds benefits from the skill around him on the power play. I think there are other guys that could fill that spot & play with more skill on line rushes & make better passes in general. Also I said in the right deal I'm not interested in giving him away. |

Maybe they should trade him this Summer.

Flyers management have yet to realize that in a cap era you can't make trades like a 1, 2, 3 and young prospect for a 39 year old player.
Name the player that did nothing in Philly? It took place before the Cap era. |

So anyone can stand in front of the opposing goalie's net as his teammates fire pucks at him? Anyone can do this? |

Tell you what. Trade all the tradable youth now and let's complain when Simmonds, Brayden Schenn and Voracek all start scoring against us, as well as winning championships, the same way we have with Sharp, Williams, Carter and Richards. Sign me up! |

Winner winner Chicken dinner. FLyers could recover by out spending people. They can't do that anymore. Draft picks for rentals will kill a club in the cap era. |

Not anyone but others. I think Schenn could be good in that role maybe Couturier since he is a big strong player. |

Another point and he's alone on top of the list of NHLers in scoring in game sevens. |

When Couturier takes a puck in the teeth, who checks the opposing top lines? |

I would move any player in the right deal. I think Simmonds is alright at 5v5. He's a good board player, but not great in his own end.
He spent much of the season with VL. I think he would reap the benefits of playing with guys who compliment his game a little better.
He's a GREAT pp player though. It may not look like he does a lot, but his net front play is outstanding.
He's also one of the few guys we have signed at a very reasonable number. |

Flyers certainly could've gotten more for a top prospect a 1,2, 3 for a guy that played 14 games and did nothing. I hated the trade when it happened and it was an awful trade.
