If its Ekblad, nobody should be angry. If its anybody else but Ekblad, I could understand people being angry, but not "incredibly" angry.

Its definitely Reinhart for me. We have players with Bennett work ethic in the organization already (Girgensons, Compher, Baptiste, etc). I dont think we should pick Bennett over Reinhart purely because he competes hard. I for one am not a believer that Bennett's offensive game will translate to the NHL as well as Reinhart's will.

I believe Ekblad and Reinhart are a cut above (if only slightly) the rest and at 2 we're guaranteed one of them. We ought to pick whichever one Florida doesn't but if they go with say Bennet at #1 I think I'd lean a little more towards Ekblad but I'd be happy either way.

This talk of taking Ekblad is foolish, the pick should be Reinhart and if that fails it should be Bennett. My opinion

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Murray trades Ehrhoff a few days before the draft and picks Ekblad. I'm sure he would like to bring back a young F prospect or two for Ehrhoff.

But you could NEVER build a team around a non-Center.

Sabres will get a very good player @ the #2 spot. No sense in moving up.

If anything... they maybe tempted to move back a couple spots to pick up more picks in next years draft.

Might as well load up for next year.

It will be loaded with great prospects.

You really need one of the top 2 picks next year.

Maybe Edmonton will want to move up to grab Ekblad?

This whole thing could just be a smokescreen for such a move. Make Edmonton think they're interested in Ekblad to possibly get them to trade their pick + to move up to 2 if he's there.

Toews wasn't exactly key in these last 2 clutch wins. Not saying he's a scrub or not a huge key, but Kane is damn worthy of being the biggest cog in a team.

He does a lot of the un noticed little stuff right. Without Toews I'd say Kane never gets the chance to be that clutch. I do agree he's worthy of the praise though.
