Hard to tell. When he's on his game he's on that list - sbroads24
No he really isn't.
the 13 guys you listed are still head and shoulders above Myers when he is on.

SB24 - Draisaitl
PV- Draisaitl
Herzeleid - Draisaitl
rover16 - Bennett
gerbe75pts - Reinhart - Herzeleid
Reinhart for me.
I agree with some, in 5 years we will be going Draisaitl who? IMO we will be saying the same about Bennett too. |

Gretzky played with Kurri
Messier played with Anderson
4 HHOF guys.
Just saying. - dadeadhead
That's exactly my point
Balanced lines
So when we are talking about our potential future lines...
Foligno, for example, could end up being a perfect fit with say McDavid & Armia
Then say a 2nd line of Girgensons-Reinhart-Grigorenko
Etc, etc, etc
All I was trying to say was that these next three 1sts don't have to all play on the same line |

Ekblad
Reinhart
Draisaitl
Bennett
DalColle
Book it.
IMO Alex Tuch is the guy we should be trying to trade up to get in the 13-18 range. Already 6-3 213, can be signed, and can play in the AHL next season. This team should be looking to get more guys that have that option. They can sign them, play them in the AHL, and still get the EL slide rule. AKA a 5 yr deal out of a 3 yr deal. |

They seem hell bent on playing Girgensons as a center.
I do agree the Grigorenko should be used as a right winger, have said it all along. That said, IMO he is the player thats moved in an Evander Kane type move. |

Maybe a bit off topic by now...
But seriously, wishing for ex-Sabres to win the Cup might best epitomize the WNY loser mentality.
Sad that this is what we've been reduced to around these parts. Not just the Sabres, of course...
Few may remember it, but when I was growing up Buffalo was actually considered a "Football Town". Da Sabes were 2nd fiddle by quite a a margin. - SuperCat
I'd like to see the Rags win.
After all, Biron gets a ring if they win. |

I was just kind of throwing names out there to make my point
We've already seen Murray make a move to get a specific guy he liked in Fasching
I'm sure he has plenty more guys targeted
I wouldn't be surprised to see anyone moved
These are all guys Regier picked, who knows how Murray feels abou them?
Even public comments that he's made can't be taken as fact
He's not going to completely top his hand |

As long as he's not taken 1st, then yes.
IMO he easily is a much better option at #2 then Hodgson, Ennis, or Girgenson(who I like a ton).
I am of the opinion that Hodgson won't be on this team come post draft day. I really feel He and part of the compensation they obtain by moving Hoff will be used to acquire Evander Kane. Just a gut feeling. |

No, Myers has proven he can control an entire game when given an opportunity, something a guy like Kronwall cannot do.

I hope we get another 1st this year too, and depending on how high it is, the guys I like are Virtanen, Tuch, and Barbashev |

While I agree, I'm almost positive that if another team wants Risto, Myers, or Girgensons.....That team had be ready to pony up a kings ransom. Since none at this time warrant a kings ransom, I expect all three to be here for the foreseeable future. |

Just an IMO but Tuch will be the better pro and I see Anaheim reaching a tad for him at ten. Kid has been compared to Getzlaf, what better team to take him.
I also said the same about Kirby Rychel last year in that he should be the target in the 18-22 range if he were still available.
Wishing they made the move for him as he has Milan Lucic written all over him only better. |

I'll hesitantly go with Reinhart as who we will pick. God knows how much I wanted Lindholm or Nichushkin last year... And look where that ended up. Hopefully we get some good luck for once and FLA doesn't pick Reinhart. |

Bennett.
He's either a top 3 player or a third liner at best.
Again just an IMO. |
