I'd wait until after the 2014-15 season to make that decision, to see if he makes some more strides in the right direction. He can be a very good player if he decides to play to his ability.

Um he came over from playing with the big boys in Sweden to put up 23 points in 28 games and then had 13 in 17 playoff games prior to being drafted. Had he started in Jr's rather than overseas, he'd of been a top 10 pick IMO.

Even then, his offense wasn't even his most enticing characteristic IMO. His battle, feisty yet mature play, and defensive ability were a massive part of his game. With his even better offensive production the last 2 years, he's proven himself to be quite the prospect.

The tht I'm still most worried about with us is the Goalie position

Well, a massive overpayment in my opinion is something along the lines of Hodgson, 2015 1st, 2016 1st, STL 1st/2nd, and a prospect like Armia/Grigs. Hopefully that's not what we'd have to give up...

Just an IMO St Louis's 2015 1st, Buffalo's 2016 1st, and Hodgson to Win for Kane.

Everyone thought Fucale would be picked in the 1st, some even said top 10. Goalies are quite unpredictable.

If we can't get Demko, getting Max Tretiak in 2015 would be outstanding.
