At this point ownership is just as much at fault as Ruben. I cannot believe he wasn't canned over two years ago. CBP is going to be a ghost town all summer.
Heard a real interesting thing on the radio. The Phils head of scouting is a guy that was a ticket taker, then clocked pitches, then a secretary for Gillick. That movement all happend in 5 years. They just handed this guy the Head of F'n Scouting job. No wonder why this team is in shambles. - hereticpride
The Phillies are easily the worst run franchise in town. I agree with you it starts with ownership. The scouting dept needs to be gutted. Seriously, I would take a run at someone in the Rays or Marlins organization. At least, they know how to scout. |

They just said during the draft that Santana might be the next Astros prospect to make the majors.
Sure would look like a better future with just those 3 prospects in the Pence trade on the roster. |

Aaron Nola is a solid pick at #7. |

Dunno if this has been mentioned yet but Isles traded a 5th round pick for Dan Boyle's rights. I have had internet issues all day so I do not know when this just done or done earlier. |

decent improvement for them if he signs. wouldnt blame him one bit if he didnt though. probably only has a few years left in him. does he really want to spend them on a poor team? |

Yeah. From the sound of things, he's a safe pick and a guy who can contribute fairly soon. That's exactly what they needed. |

Finally a pitcher with control, LOL. If biddle can ever get some control he'll be a solid MLB player. |

He's a fine prospect, but I was really hoping for a hitter with some power with that pick. |

Did you know that Dan Aykroyd originally wrote the part of Winston in Ghostbusters for his former Co-star in Trading Places Eddie Murphy but Eddie Murphy turned it down 2 star in Beverly Hills Cop. |

Slow night for hockey so I'm all over the place. Celtics have 7, possibly 8 first rd picks the next 4 years. 8 if 76ers make the playoffs next year. They are going to go hard for Love. |

LOL. I can't wait to see what Hinkie does. I honestly see him shipping out Young so the 76ers 1st in 2015 doesn't go to the Celtics and we get one more lottery pick. |

Going to go hard for love sounds like the repeated segment of an annoying 80s song |
