You seriously can't understand what I said there?

He has the talent to be an NHL player... but as of right now, No Heart!!!

Just going through the motions.

He needs to have a good offseason and figure out if he wants to play in this league.

He can't play on the top 2 lines because he is not producing, and doesn't have the heart to crash and bang on the bottom 2 lines.

Maybe some time in the AHL will help him if he doesn't start off strong next season.

With Tavares, Neilsen, Strome, and Czikas down the middle... Bailey has to play wing.

The last time he played well... he was with KO, Neilsen!!!

Yes and No, look how little Tavares produced on the fourth line of the Olympic team. When Tavares was out Bailey did start to produce at the end of the season. As you pointed out there is alot of competition down the middle on the Isles and in the league, so the Isles or some other team need to hand him a first or second slot and a pair of vet wingers to see if he can produce.

Its more then PRODUCING, He needs to do the little things that he doesn't do, like try!

He has been on the first line & the second line... you cant hinder the growth of the rest of the team just to try to get one guy going.

Dee...Dan Boyle is not an Islander not even sort of...you column should read maybe a longshot can come true. But wouldn't it be nicer if we read ISLES SOLD!!! Dan Bylmsa named head coach...Pierre McGuire GM ... then Dan Boyle would be sort of an Islander.

he doesn't. He scores for a week or two at a decent clip then disappears for months. Bailey does not deserve a top six role until he actually earns one. 8 goals on a full season is not a top six forward.
