yes...and possibly the only team keeping him in the nhl. I am all for good rapport guys in the locker room and "everyone's friend" off the ice, but you have to do some form of anything to keep a job in today's world.

I agree with this... I really don't think that Ehrhoff puts on the blue and gold sweater next year.

There are too many teams that need D and the UFA pool is shallow and the draft is weak.

I also don't see us taking picks unless it is high picks in next year's draft.

I could see us getting a solid 2nd line player with a year or two of contract left for Ehrhoff... and a prospect or something.

#10 will only get you a mid tier player (a Roussel from Dallas) and a 2nd rounder...which can go a long way

No I mean if we trade Myers, are only vet would be Ehrhoff who in 2-3 years will be on the decline. As opposed to having a 27-28 year old Myers lead the blueline

If Ekblad is left at #2 and the Sabres aren't thinking of drafting D, knowing the Oilers' D situation what else could Buffalo get from Edmonton by swapping the #2 and #3 picks?
