at least he gets to play in the game, unlike price who got krieder'ed. but oh, that's just a hockey play gone bad, and really that's monteal's fault anyway because if they were faster, it never would have happened. well, the bump in the crease was a hockey play, and micdunnuh was just as much to blame for boxing him into the crease. the puck was already in the net anyway. i thought kings weren't supposed to cry?
- hammarby31

I'm still not over that play either, going "skates first" into the net when he lost his balance.
They deserve everything they get, no one has to worry about taking "the king" out because he's doing such a wonderful job.
Cue in the 35 blocked shots, & "oh Hank is wonderful".

Maybe not. But I am not on social security yet......

The one thing I think we have in common as Flyers fans with Rangers fans in the 90's was the guy at MSG who held up the sign " Now I can die in Peace" if and when the Flyers win the Cup before I am drooling in a wheelchair......
Sorry to paint that picture

Think of happy fluffy bunnies instead

Whoa, your as old as me, and Bill Fairbairn, teddy Irvine, Brad Park, Jim "chief" Neilson.
Ed Giacomin looked 60 when he was 30.

- puckhead17

Speaking of old looking, remember Harry Howell? I said to myself "this guy is old". He looked very distinguished, though, with that salt and pepper hair. When I first saw him circa 1970 he was only in his late 30's. Right now I feel ancient.

Yes!, In fact I was also thinking of him when I mentioned Giacomin.

The Hillman brothers also looked like they could be on the "Golden girls" in there 30's as well.

Stop it
- funmaster18

well, he's right. I mean, don't conspiracy theorists expect them to lose game 3 in OT, the come back for a dramatic 4-game run that ends in OT with a goal by St. Louis?

I want the Kings to win the Cup on MSG ice.
- PLindbergh31

But in game 6? With a goal no one sees go in but Justin Williams?

That little smurf that works with Milbury and Jones said last night that Lundqvist fits in perfectly in LA because "he looks like a movie star"

No. Game 4. If the Kings win game 3 it will be a sweep. I want the Cup winning goal to deflect off Carter's skate.

Our hope was him getting hired as the Pens GM. That ship has sailed. Unfortunately he's going nowhere. He will be in between the glass for the next 15 years.
