- how about they just eliminate the trapezoid all together? stop limiting the goalies. enough already.
- how about they just eliminate shootouts (since they obviously feel there are too many), and go with a 10 minute OT. tie after. it will take the same amount of time.
- whatever. - hammarby31

I'm really not excited to see this clown's blue jacket tonight and really not excited to hear the crowd cheer after each line. Until the end of course, where for the whole last verse they cheer for the rest of the song. |

Interesting the Kings have two Directors of Amateur Scouting.
Michael Futa

Mark Yannetti

If Hexy is as serious about player development as he has led on, I would think his assistant GM would have an extensive recent background in amateur scouting. I will be interested to see who he selects. I would be surprised and a little disappointed if he promoted from within the Flyers organization at this point. - ravishingone
Futa's supposed to be pretty snazzy.

Voracek is a much better player now and will be a much better player in the future. So...yeah no I'll pass.
The package surrounding Coburn would have to be astronomical to get Weber. No, I won't be trading Coburn, Schenn, 2 firsts, and a second. That's insane. No thanks.
How broken is your heart at this point? - Giroux_Is_God
Why would my heart be broken?
I don't feel Voracek is that much better of a player then James van Riemsdyk, I feel both players have their pros and cons. As far as a fit and a compliment to Giroux goes, I absolutely feel JvR would be a much better fit.
The idea of sending Coburn for Weber, Coburn is where I would start. He would be the key player from the Flyers going the other way with a nimber of other different parts. With this said, I don't think Nashville will ever get fair value for Weber. Nashville could and probably should look to Edmonton who have the assets and could use Weber even more then we could.
At the same time I'm not GM of the Nashville predators, so I won't pretend like I know exactly what it would take to get Shea Weber. I just know you have to put in the offers to see what they'll bite on. |

Why would my feeling be hurt if you of all people disagree with me? You get upset and target me, not the other way around. |
