Marc Bergevin ruined leClair on a trip from behind that he rode him and sent him to the boards thanksgiving eve 2003. I was there and saw it happen in Pissburgh.
Enough reason for the earth to open up and swallow that team and Bergevin wherever he is. - Steelmanpa

Why anyone is bitter about them makes no sense to me. They didn't ask to leave, they were devastated when traded. If you liked them when they were here, rooting for them now makes perfect sense. The Flyers aren't playing. And the Kings are playing a lot of Flyers fans least favorite rivals. - bodiva88
That's where i am with it -- i'm wound tight about the Flyers but i just can't find rage for players who are no longer on the team |

I was at a lot of Phantoms games during the lockout and was 6 rows from the ice when they won the Calder Cup in 05. I sincerely hoped that the core would bring a cup to the Flyers. Maybe Clarke/Homer's screwups were the reason we didnt have a cup with this core, but there was hope.
Carter, Richards, Nittymaki, Pttkanen and others gave us hope for the immediate future. Even better that a Stall was on the team that lost. Our rookies were better....
Then we had the rule changes and those D signings with lockout (Hatcher and waste Rathje) How did they pass the physicals?????????????????????????????

I want the earth to open and swallow all of the 2003 penguins and hockey operations and staff, Montreal had no part in this
edit add to this not just 2003, but everyone from the 09 team and whoever rescinded Malkins suspension.

I was at that Calder Cup winning game too. I remember having tickets and cheering against the Phantoms in the previous game, so I'd get to go |

It doesn't make sense to be bitter, any more than it makes sense to cheer for them. They aren't Flyers 'West'. The fans didn't ask for or cause them to be traded either. Personally, I don't want either team to win...so I'm cheering for neither, just hoping for a good series, and so far it blows.

All healthy behavior. Embrace it. In fact, you should see what you can do about amping it up a bit, really show your passion. |

I like having a rooting interest when watching a sporting event. In other series I root for players I like. No reason not to root for players I liked here. If they were playing against the Flyers, I'd be rooting for the Flyers. |

Randomly showing up where she's hanging out without her knowing just shows how much you care.
Has anybody ever wondered why Hagelin even bothers wearing a helmet or visor they way they sit on his head and with the strap so loose? Just a random thought.
And if I'm bitter about anything, it's that the Flyers didn't beat these chumpass Rangers in the first round. |

Yeah, they won a 7 game series against the flyers, game 7 by a 2-1 score and yet thay are soooo much better than them. |
